Por estar próximo dos Jardins do Luxemburgo, da Sorbonne, de Notre-Dame e do Museu do Louvre, o Hotel Saint-Paul Rive Gauche é o ponto de partida ideal para visitar plenamente a cidade de Paris.
Esta residência do século XVII antigamente albergava os monges franciscanos, com o Grande Convento da Ordem Franciscana (em francês, Grand Couvent des Cordeliers). Outrora chamado de “Hôtel du Réservoir” (em português, Hotel do Reservatório), seu poço autêntico, que hoje orna a sala onde é servido o pequeno-almoço, era o reservatório de água que abastecia toda a vizinhança.
