Welcome to a historic site whose origins date back to the 10th century and which owes its name to a certain Hilaire the Hermit who already turned the millstones in the Middle Ages...
Situated on two hectares of Mediterranean gardens along the river, our property consists of a mill, planted on the watercourse, and its miller's house, ten meters away.
The dressed stone ensemble, covered with Virginia creeper, is distinguished by its spacious rooms (two living rooms of 100 m² each, bedrooms of 25 to 30 m²) and its original decoration signed by a painter. The doors open onto a vast terrace dominated by a century-old chestnut tree whose beneficial shade you will enjoy in the heart of summer.
As an extension, the generously sized swimming pool (14 x 7 m, secured by a submerged alarm) is surrounded by a lawn planted with olive trees, palm trees and fruit trees. Deckchairs and a kitchenette are at your disposal.
Overlooking the river, a wooden terrace with lounge and convivial table welcomes aperitifs and meals, lulled by the song of the cicadas. Below, egrets, herons and bee-eaters also meet…
At the foot of the mill, the river and its private pebble beach are waiting for you!
30 min / 1 hour by car you will discover: Montpellier, Nîmes and the Pont du Gard, the Hérault and Gardon gorges, Uzès, Sète and the Etang de Thau, the Camargue, the Cévennes, the Canal du Midi, the AOC vineyards…
