This charming little studio was a former armory during the war. It is located in the village of Solliès-Ville, clinging to a hill which dominates the rich Gapeau plain.
The highest point (500 m) of the town is to the east, on the foothills of the “Bau Rouge”.
The town is located 2.2 km from La Farlède, 15 km from Toulon and 16.1 km from Hyères and therefore from the beaches!
If you want to find its inhabitants called the Solliès-Villains, you can take the departmental road RD 458, between Cuers and La Farlède.
The nearest train station is Solliès-Pont. It is served by the TER Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur.
The town is very active throughout the year: since 1989, in the last days of August, Solliès-Ville has hosted the International Comics Festival which invites prestigious cartoonists such as Enki Bilal, Cosey, Jean Giraud, Frank Margerin … and receives many visitors.
Without forgetting the annual feast of Saint-Loup during which there is a succession of giant aioli, balls, boules competitions… for five days.
You can also visit two traditional museums, that of Jean Aicard and that of traditional clothing.
Entertainment guaranteed every Friday evening under the century-old plane trees of the village, from the first day of summer, we dance, sing and eat!
