Le Greffon, gîte élegant au cœur des Monts d'Ardèche

Handsome stone house, completely renovated in 2022, in the Monts d'Ardèche regional natural park - UNESCO Global Geopark, with a terrace on the first floor, overlooking a superb northern view of the Eyrieux valley.

The ground floor offers: kitchen, dining table and sitting area.
The upstairs has a bedroom with a shower and a sink. The dry toilets are separate.
The kitchen is well equipped with a modern electric hob, but also with a beautiful wood stove with oven (for use except in summer).

Swimming in the Glueyre in summer, evenings by the wood stove in the cool season.

The gîte is adjoining our house with its own independent entrance, on terraces with dry stone walls typical of Les Boutières surrounded by a wild forest.
We practice permaculture here and live ecologically. The Gluiras spring water is delicious, the heating is with fire-wood only and the toilets are dry.

The Ardèche center is calm, with rich biodiversity. There are plenty of walks to do in the beautiful valleys, on the gentle path "La Dolce Via" (entrance in front of the house) and on the plateau "La Montagne Ardéchoise". Museums and villages full of local history are found around us.

An additional independent bedroom for 1 p. with bathroom is available for rental, only with the gîte.

We are 200 m from the D120 between Saint-Sauveur-de-Montagut (2.5km) and Le Cheylard, at Pont de La Roche.
Access by car via the D120 coming from the Rhône Valley, A7, or coming from Puy en Velay, Ardéchois plateau.
The two hairpins to get up to our place are quite doable, even with a large car.
There is a parking space reserved for you at the bottom of your terrace. There is very little traffic, we share our municipal road with only a few neighbors.
