We are located a few minutes from the natural lake of Issarlès, on the Ardèche plateau, on the edge of the Haute-Loire and Lozère, halfway between Puy en Velay and Aubenas.
Land of springs and volcanoes with extinct craters where natural lakes have been created, many saps and mountains are part of the landscape. The most famous being the Mont Gerbier de Jonc (1551m), where the longest river in France, the Loire, has its source and gives us the privilege of crossing our place.
Mont Mézenc (1753m), meanwhile, offers an extraordinary panorama up to the Alps.
The symbolic watershed line (Atlantic/Mediterranean) crosses our mountains. Made visible in the summer of 2017 by several international artists honoring it with contemporary works, it will amaze art lovers.
The exceptional fauna and flora in these sparsely populated and wild landscapes will bring you real rest. Your hikes will become unforgettable. It doesn't take much to see a deer at a bend in the path. Put your senses on alert to discover the magnificent medicinal plants and sublime flowers of our mountains. Picking mushrooms for amateurs and discerning palates will be a magnificent excuse to explore the woods.
If you identify yourself as a traveler in search of timelessness, freeze frame, originality then do not hesitate to cross the door of our paradise.
