CANCELLATION AND MODIFICATION
1. Modification of reservation (subject to management fees):
The Customer may request a change to their stay (dates and/or type of accommodation) upon written request to the Domaine (mail or e-mail) at least 30 days before their arrival date, subject to availability and possibilities.. No postponement will be accepted for the following season.
- Any request to increase the length of your stay will be made according to availability and the rates in force.
- Any request to reduce the duration of your stay is considered a partial cancellation and will be subject to the terms and conditions for cancellation and interruption of stay.
2. Unused services
In the event of an interrupted or shortened stay for one of the following reasons:
•Closure of borders by administrative decision
•Administrative closure of the Domaine.
•Limitation of travel to a number of kilometers by administrative decision not allowing people to come to the estate. A credit of an amount corresponding to the unused nights, valid for one year, will be issued by the Domaine. If the customer refuses this credit, he will be reimbursed on request for the corresponding amount. Apart from the reasons mentioned above, any interrupted or shortened stay (late arrival, early departure) caused by the customer will not give rise to a refund or credit.
3. Cancellation by Domaine du Cardou
In the event of cancellation by the Domaine, except in cases of force majeure, the sums paid for the reservation will be fully refunded. However, this cancellation cannot give rise to the payment of damages.
4. Cancellation by the customer
Any request to cancel your stay must be made by handwritten letter sent to the Domaine's postal address or by e-mail. Cancellations sent by telephone cannot be taken into account. Any cancellation results in the termination of the reservation and Domaine du Cardou reserves the right to re-offer the accommodation for rental.
For one of the following reasons until their arrival date:
•Closure of borders by administrative decision,
•Administrative closure of the Domaine,
•Limitation of travel to a number of kilometers by administrative decision not allowing coming to the Domaine. A credit note, in an amount corresponding to the full amount paid, valid for one year, will be issued by the Domaine. If the customer refuses this credit, he will be reimbursed on request for the corresponding amount.
For all other reasons:
• Case 1
More than 30 calendar days before the start of the stay: The deposit of 30% of the amount of the stay will be retained by the Domaine as a cancellation fee. The amounts paid, deducted from the amount of the deposit, will be refunded. If the payment was made in part or in full with a credit note of a value greater than the deposit: the deposit of 30% of the amount of the stay will be retained by the Domaine for cancellation costs. A new, non-refundable credit with a validity of
1 year, and corresponding to the initial amount (deduction of the 30% deposit). The remainder of the amounts paid other than the credit will be refunded.
• Case 2
- between 10 and 30 calendar days before the start of the stay. A sum of 50% of the total amount of the stay will be retained by the Domaine as cancellation fees. A credit note will be issued for an amount corresponding to the sums paid, less cancellation fees. This credit is valid for 1 year, non-refundable and non-transferable.
• Case 3
Less than 30 calendar days before the start of the stay. The totality
of the amounts paid, i.e. the entire amount of the stay is
preserved by the Domaine. No refunds will be
carried out.
