Charming mas classified 'Gîtes de France 3 épis' called 'Le Mas du TOUR', in PRADES 81220, charming gite (74 m²) entirely independent nestled in the 2 ha domain of the Château du tour in PRADES (25 km CASTRES and 40 km from Toulouse) on a tree-lined promontory and a dominant view of a hilly landscape reminiscent of the landscapes of Tuscany (moreover this region is at the origin of the name 'Pays de Cocagne', a popular expression wishing to express the richness of a region, its landscapes and its joie de vivre).
The Mas is located 100 m from our Residence, a 13th century stronghold dismantled following the wars of 'religion' (Catharism and Protestantism) classified as a "Heritage Foundation".
Beautiful private swimming pool (10 x 5 x 1.60 m with flat bottom) exclusively reserved for tenants of the Mas du Tour, and located at the foot of a restored round tower, under the fortification walls.
The Mas has
- 2 bedrooms with twin beds of 90 (possibility of joining them to make a large double bed)
- a living room with a sofa bed (not counted in the number of beds), coffee table, pedestal table, armchairs, large sideboard with flat-screen TV and a corner fireplace with wood provided for a short stay and a mezzanine with a bed single, 2 showers
- 2 toilets including 1 independent
- 2 walk-in showers
- an American kitchen with dining area overlooking the landscape at 180° and communicating directly with a terrace of approximately 100 m² surrounded by the park and equipped with garden furniture, table, plancha, parasols and deck chairs. This kitchen is equipped with all the necessary equipment to make good meals: fridge/freezer, washing machine/dryer, dishwasher, 'Senseo' coffee machine, coffee machine with filters, toaster, micro- waves, kettle…
Located in the heart of the 'pays de plenty' producing the famous 'pastel blue', dominating at 180° a landscape of hills and cultures with its color contrasts, at the limit of the 'Lauragais' and the 'Albigensian' country near the 'Cathar' castles of the Mediterranean and the Pyrenees, this region has a rich culture and a turbulent history that offer a rich variety of visits and discoveries.

Exit cleaning, fixed price 70 €
Household linen (towels, tea towels, bath towels, pillowcases and bolsters, etc.) is provided, however bed sheets are not provided. This linen is washed at more than 60°.
