This 2-day cruise departs from North Shields near Newcastle and arrives the next morning at IJmuiden in the Netherlands. A shuttle bus between the terminal and central Amsterdam is available at a surcharge. Departures are at 17:00, with an arrival time of 09:45 in IJmuiden. Before the return journey to Newcastle, you’ll have five free hours to explore what Amsterdam has to offer. Please note that check-in is between 3 hours and 45 minutes before departure.
All cabins have a private en-suite bathroom with a shower and toilet. Certain guest rooms have a desk or seating area. Superior rooms include breakfast.
Guests on board can choose among an array of dining options. North Sea Bistro offers a mix of meat- and seafood-centric dishes paired with wine, while Explorers Kitchen features an all-you-can-eat international buffet. Coffee Crew Café serves a selection of cold and hot beverages. After dinner, guests can grab a drink in Compass Bar, listen to live music in the pub, dance the night away in the nightclub or try their luck at the casino.
Sea Shop offers tax-free shopping with a variety of designer clothes and accessories, quality wines and spirits, as well as sweets and fragrances. Children can enjoy a range of activities on the ferry, including a gaming area and a children's club with maritime entertainment. There is also a cinema available for a surcharge.
