It is an old dairy farm made of local stone. It is located at the exit of a village classified as “Most Beautiful Village in France” Saint-Robert. The entrance (with a 15 cm step) provides access to the kitchen with its stone fireplace, its large oval table for 10 people, the Limousin sideboard and the old wooden beams. This is how our ancients lived. Limousin is a stone's throw from Perigord...
The staircase is original and provides access to the upper floor where there is a 140 cm bed in the bedroom with a view of the valley.
The last bedroom has 3 single beds. Then the second bathroom with a jet cabin shower and toilet.
You will grill on the barbecue. The garden furniture with the parasol are near the front door, in the farm courtyard. Several vehicles can park there.
Family and friends get together for a few days of relaxation and getting back to basics.
Before your arrival, I will communicate to you the local points of interest...and their links to the sites; local festivities and emblematic places. You will also find them in the cottage, as well as the hiking trails.
I live 3 km away and I remain available to accompany you on hiking trails, forests, in search of mushrooms, wild orchids, honey house, vegetable garden and fruit trees...
Every year on Friday evenings, the village invites you to its giant barbecues: choose from the producers' stands: and cook your duck breasts on the barbecues set up at Place de la Prévôte in St Robert...with music of course!
Saint Robert is medieval, its old shops, its noble houses, its slate roofs.
This stone village dominates the valley, its landscapes with limestone mounds, its wash houses, a welcoming and generous nature. The people who live here have simplicity, authenticity and the scents of the land.
