Les Rousses, Haut-Jura's main ski resort, is located on the highest plateau near the Jura peaks, which overlook Lake Geneva.
Switzerland is 1.2 km from the rental.
It is a magnificent very green region, alternating coniferous and deciduous forests mixed with pastures (made by the county) and peat bogs, with plenty of high altitude lakes, waterfalls and small streams.
From the top of the peaks, breathtaking views of Switzerland and the Alps in the distance.
In short: a paradise for hikers and mountain bikers.
In winter: 50 km of alpine ski slopes and more than 200 km of Nordic skiing, routes for snowshoeing and walking, sledding, dog sledding, ice rink, ski-jöring.
In summer, water sports (2 lakes + canyons), horse riding, 2 golf courses, climbing, mountain biking, Segway, hiking, commando games at Fort des Rousses, etc.
